Kaiser on the Rocks!
Karl Lagerfeld and his minions transformed the Grand Palais into a melting iceberg, complete with an arctic "ocean" consisting of a centimeter's worth of water. Models splashed away, soaking the hems of their faux-fur boots in the process. The Kaiser's inspiration? Well, it wasn't exactly global warming, but the ICEHOTEL in Lapland, Sweden, which he has has not yet visited. When we go, we know what we're packing. Faux fur trousers, anyone?
