Rosy Outlook
WHAT: Diane von Furstenberg sunglasses
WHY: It doesn't get much more cheery than DvF---even when it rains! Luckily, the sun is shining today, making it the perfect time to break out a pair of hot pink shades (they come in teal, black and brown, too, but The Daily is partial to pink, natch). A retro cat-eye shape and quirky print along the temples add an extra dash of liveliness.
PRICE: $145
AVAILABLE: DVF, New York, 646.486.4800 and www.dvf.com

All About Eve
WHAT: Jeffrey Monteiro Eve dress in garnet
WHY: Whether he's been on your rader since his eponymous line launched two years ago or just since being named creative director at Bill Blass in December, Jeffrey Monteiro is certainly one to watch. As we're into instant gratification, ourselves (his Blass creations won't hit stores for months), we're partial to this garnet-hued Eve frock for fall---up close it has an incredibly detailed, micro-pleated texture. Now, if only these 90-degree temperatures could cool it a bit...
PRICE: $585
AVAILABLE: Barneys New York, available mid-August

After a hiatus, Darby Scott has re-introduced her eponymous collection (welcome back!), and this stunning chunky malachite bib caught our eye immediately. Hand-carved by Scott's artisans, it's dramatic, luxurious, and over-the-top---the perfect addition to your jewelry box, n'est-ce pas?

All About The Onyx
WHAT: Ellen Himic cathedral ring
WHY: If you think an oversized cocktail ring jazzes up any ensemble, how about 10 carats of striking black onyx? The Cathedral ring (named for its architecture-inspired lines and arches) might be dotted with tiny turquoise stones, but we all know who's the star of the show.
PRICE: $100
